Symantec Caught in Norton 'Rootkit' Flap

I have stopped using Systemworks - with Windows XP, it is no longer needed for anything. It has always been a huge drain on resources on any computer - especially if you accept the defaults when you install it.

My advice? If you are running Windows XP and have Systemworks installed, uninstall it. If you are not using XP, you may still need Systemworks, but definitely run LiveUpdate to get the patch that gets rid of this 'rootkit'-ish part of Systemworks.
