This morning I uninstalled Norton AntiVirus 2005 and installed Avast 4.6 Home edition. Why? Norton had begun warning me that it would expire in Feb, so I uninstalled the critter. Avast is just as good and even better in some ways, plus it's free. Avast also has several types of on-access scanners that NAV doesn't include, like for IM clients, P2P software, and others.
