Ok, I like David Lynch movies. Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive, Twin Peaks. All twisted, wierd, but interesting and watchable.

So I bought Eraserhead to complete my collection of David Lynch films. This is his first film, done in film school. This is the film that launched his career.

My god, those people are sick.

This was without a doubt the WORST MOVIE EVER MADE. Utter crap from beginning to end. The ending credits were the most welcome sight and the best part of the entire movie.

Long periods of wierd humming/buzzing noises and flashing lights, the main character walking through nasty alley after nasty alley, precious little dialogue, and what there was of it was extraneous somehow.

I wish I hadn't bought it, but worse, I wish I could not only get the hour back I spent watching it, but actively excise the very memory of it from my mind.

It was that bad.

If anyone I know wishes to verify this independently, I'll give you the DVD. Yes, give. Ask me.

I'll also provide schnapps and/or rum to help you forget this travesty of a gibbering idiot's viewpoint on life.
