Schools in Montgomery County, Maryland used the 'Gum Game' for 9 Years. Now the outside group that was responsible for this has been barred from the schools. Hear them whine.
This is regarding the 'faith-based' group that was invited into the schools to teach abstinence, STD's, etc - apparently instead of useful sex ed. They had the students chew gum and swap around the class, apparently to demonstrate some point about STDs.
