Another email phishing scheme

I just got an email claiming to be from Skype, and congratulating me on my recent purchase. With a handy html attachment that 'contained my details'.

The natural impulse is to open it, especially if you haven't bought anything from them. Don't do that. It leads to an infected website that will then download evil stuff to your system.

Never click on a link in an email, even if you think you know where it goes. Always use an existing bookmark or manually type in the actual website address, never use the 'handy' link included, and especially never click on an attached file, html or otherwise!
