Cisco’s cloud vision: Mandatory, monetized, and killed at their discretion
Basically, a new automatic firmware update forces you to sign up for their cloud service. It will allow you access to your router from anywhere. Oh, and anyone else can access it if they get your password or otherwise compromise your account.
Not so bad? Well, they also track your activities - where you go, what you download, etc.
Still not upset? They also have a little wording in their EULA that forbids you from viewing porn, using any torrenting service, etc.
Still not upset? Then Cisco is for you, I guess.
