There is a good review of several popular DVD burners on Tom's Hardware, one of my favorite hardware-related websites.

We are still getting log entries (dozens, down from hundreds) on the firewall from people infected with the SQL Slammer worm. I find it incredible that anyone out there is so clueless as to not even notice that they are attacking the internet at random. I understand that applying the patch is a strenuous manual process, but why have an SQL server exposed to the internet in any case? It isn't that hard to put a firewall in front of it and block port 1434! *sigh*
