Well, the 'snow event' turned out to be a 'no event'. Flurries all day, no accumulation, even on cars or sidewalks. It just made things wet. This is not a bad thing, as it means that the roads won't be dangerous tonight. Of course, wet roads freeze, but with all the chemicals they applied in anticipation of the snow, it would have to get into the mid to low 20's to freeze the roads.
I just downloaded all of the patches/fixes/critical updates for MS Windows 2000, SQL server, Office and all of the components including Visio, and MSIE 6 sp1 with the new patch for it as well.
I took these 587mb and burned a CD. Now we have an up-to-today version of all of the major MS patches on media that you don't need a network or internet connection to get!
