Well, there is yet another new version of old virus, this one pretends to be from PayPal, and says that it just charged you $175, and to click on the link to verify the details. If you click on it, you are taken to a website that will use the new iframe exploit - that has NOT been patched yet by Microsoft - to install a virus on your computer and use it to host the virus files for the next round of infected people.

Remember - don't click on links in email - don't even open email you aren't expecting!

Hopefully at some point the powers that be will take action and email will be changed to prevent all of these virus-laden messages.

I would love to see email changed to be text-only, no fancy colors, graphics, no attachments, no html allowed. Simple text. That wouldn't stop these sorts of attacks, as the writers could still send the web address along so if anyone went there it would infect the systems, but it would take more effort than clicking a link.
