Still more info on the MWF issue : an unofficial patch is available, I have installed it at work and home, and suggest that if you are reading this, you need to install it as well, and then uninstall it before you apply the official Microsoft patch that they promise will be out on Jan 10, 2006.

To install it, click on the link, download the file to your desktop or somewhere else you can find it, then right click on it and select INSTALL. or double click it - I think that works too - I used the rt-click method.
