Well, I got to install Vista at work as a test bed for some mission-critical software, just to be sure it works if we're forced to upgrade in the next 5 years.

I'm not sure I like it yet, but it certainly isn't THAT much worse than XP. I force all of my XP installs to look as much as Windows 2000 as possible, for instance.

I'll play with it more next week and maybe find the correct video drivers for it. Unfortunately, the crap videocard that comes with the Precision 650 systems is not even CLOSE to adequate for running Aero, so I'm stuck with the older theme and screen look.

We have a ATI Radeon AGP 32mb 7000 DVI card in it, the minimum Aero card is apparently the 9500 model.
