3.6 magnitude earthquake centered in Montgomery County at 5:04 a.m. Friday.
It woke me up and scared me - I thought there had been an explosion in the house or nearby. The whole house vibrated for 10 sec or so, accompanied by a low groaning rumble the whole time.
It was centered about a mile east of us.
this is VERY close. Scary.
PS. They just relocated where they think the epicenter was, now USGS puts it about 1.5 miles NW of us. Of course, they are saying there is an 8 mile 'uncertainty' so it could actually have been anywhere in the local area.
