May 3rd we lost a good one - Lee Herring was one of my best friends and the linch-pin of several different groups of people that rarely met each other. He was a peacemaker, hard worker, and cared about everyone. Lee was involved in several Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Anime conventions, helping out wherever he was needed and generally being a great asset. My thoughts are with those he left behind - I know they are grieving and in misery right now, but he left such good memories everywhere he went that there is a large pool of people to help them.
He was my friend, and I'll miss him.
