Just got the news yesterday that the home inspection went well. They apparently found a couple of minor issues but didn't want to make repairs part of the contract, so they haven't added any conditions to the close! They actually are trying to move the closing date up a bit, which I fully support.

The appraisal came in as well - at $425k, which was exactly our asking price! Nice to know that we guessed well.

Last night I assembled the bathroom storage unit - two shelves, three drawers, and another two shelves at the bottom in an enclosed cabinet with a door. Very nice! All that is left to assemble is one more large bookcase and a small one. Once that is done, I can begin the arduous process of unpacking all my books and putting them on shelves. I should be done by the end of the month.
