I'm still looking at homes - found at least one really nice one, but it's priced about 100k too high. It needs a LOT of work, and the current price is $480. At $375 I would take it and do the work (or have it done), or $400 if they get all the work done.

New carpets EVERYWHERE, painting everywhere, new sliding glass doors upstairs and down. A lot of the closet doors are broken, unhinged, or just wrong for the doorjamb, like they were stuck in place without measuring. Some of the room doors are damaged, like punched or hit with objects and cracked/broken.

Overall a nice house though, in a great area.
