Oh. My. Goodness.

I just saw the most beautiful, best-kept, best-location, convenient and close to work house I have EVER seen.

And it's almost in the range I can afford. If they will drop 35k from the price, I would buy it NOW. Damned be the apt landlords!

Tomorrow I go to the meeting and find out what the new owners of my apt complex have in store for us. We are going condo, but at what price? If the place is 150k I'll stay here. If it's much more than that, I'll move.

Buying the new house would leave me about $100/week spending money after bills and such. Maybe. No more Amazon spending sprees. And I'll have to do my own yardwork. Couldn't afford to hire someone to do it for me anymore. I would also have to shovel my driveway again. Ugh.

Ah well, I need to grow up anyway.

But this HOUSE. 4 bedrooms, two of them have double doors, all of them have massive closet space. 2.5 bathrooms, one off the master bedroom, one in the upstairs hall, and a half-bath downstairs. STORAGE. TONS of storage. Brand new fridge, stove, countertop and cabinets in the kitchen. New tile in the kitchen as well, looks like they refurbed it in the last couple of years.

HUGE dining room, nice sitting room/den, decent living room with STAINED GLASS WINDOWS. Cathedral ceilings in living room to really make use of those windows. The 3 smaller bedrooms are all at least as big as my 2nd bedroom in this apt, which is a quite large bedroom. I could easily have a roomate and we wouldn't get in each other's way.

My room (double doors & pvt bath), guest room, exercise room (tiled floor with double doors) and office (tiled floor).

I'm impressed. Enough that I want to make an offer NOW. Argh! I have to wait until tomorrow to find out what the new owners are going to do to we poor apt renters.
