Lunar Perigee and Apogee Calculator
Just in case anyone is making a case for a lunar aspect to the earthquake. I don't really see one, frankly.
The Perigee (Moon closest) is on Aug 2 and 30, the apogee (farthest away) is on Aug 18th and Sep 15.
New moon is Aug 29, Full moon was Aug 13.
This hit right in the middle of nothing at all, moon-wise.
