Cold - 18 deg F here, supposed to snow at some point, hopefully after 5pm, with 4+ inches possible by morning, continued snow thru tomorrow. Sometimes I wish I lived in Florida.

Yesterday while running tests with the BrightStor backup agent for W2K, Brian and I worked on getting the Sun patch for Solaris 8 to install /dev/random - such fun! The official patch refused to work - consistently claiming that one or more of the patches required were missing. Even though the documentation and even the OEM docs claimed that NO prior patches were required. Hmmm. Brian got it working by installing a completely separate 3-rd party patch that was intended for something else, but served the same purpose. Success at last!
